is there anything else that you can do to an already good looking vehicle? well, refreshed them yet again and get people excited about it. that’s exactly what Audi has done to their still fresh RS 5 coupe. set to appear at the Frankfurt Motor Show – or should i say, it already did – this 2012 rendition sports some cosmetic makeover such as restyled headlamps, all new LED daytime running lamps and most notably, a single fog lamp instead of a pair. under the hood is a 4.5-liter naturally aspirated V8 that puts out 450-horses (331-kW) and 430-Nm (317.15 lb-ft) of peak torque that runs through from 4000 rpm to 6000 rpm. mated to a standard seven-speed S-tronic, the coupe makes its century sprint in just 4.6-seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h (though 280 km/h can be consented by request).

its a RS, hence Audi’s permanent four-wheel drive system is in place to ensure that this beast sticks to the road during high speed cornering. other goodies include 19-inch forged aluminum wheels wrapped in 265/35 rubbers (20-inch with 275/30 as an option), internally ventilated wave brake discs, xenon plus headlamps, flared aluminum front fenders, LED rear lights, auto-deploy spoiler (@120 km/h), power adjustable sport seats upholstered in black leather and Alcantara, leather-clad multifuntioning sport steering wheel with gear shifter and of course, an awesomely great look – just to name a few. however, there’s no word its pricing and its exact availability. check out a gallery of images of the 2012 Audi RS5 live photos from Frankfurt Motor Show after the jump.
