at the first glance, the 2013 Arrinera Supercar might be mistaken as a Lamborghini but of course, it isn’t. however, it has an unmistakable silhouette of an exotic supercar, which naturally, caught our eyes. destined to go into production later this year with a price tag starting from £100,000 (about US$162,000), this Polish supercar is powered by a massive supercharged 6.2-liter V8 unit mated to a Graziano-sourced manual transmission. power output is rated at 650 horses (485 kW) with 820 Nm (605 lb-ft) of torque. performance-wise, this 1,300 kg beast rockets from standstill to 100 km/h in mere 3.2 seconds, sending it to a top speed of 340 km/h (211 mph). the aggressive Lambo-look-alike front end slung lowly and progresses aerodynamically to a space-age looking rear end, which should become a signature rear-end look for the Arrinera, like what the round tail lights have given the Nissan GT-R. some key specifications include a high strength steel chassis, a multi-link independent suspension, 19-inch alloy rolling stocks and a high performance braking system with huge 380mm (front) and 350mm (rear) brake discs. though no details were given on what calipers it is fitted with. on the inside, expect to find a three-spoke steering wheel, ergonomic sports front seats, inertia reel seat belts, leather upholstery and a leather trimmed dashboard. the 2012 Arrinera Supercar will be available with a series of options that includes the usual performance and brakes packages, carbon package for interior and exterior and a novel thermal camera package that comes with a thermal FLIR camera and LCD display. whether do you need such a thermal imaging gadget in your supercar is entirely your call but being geeks, we say, put it on – IF money is of no object. check out a gallery of this awesome car after the break.
