need to real workhorse for your daily runabout without sacrificing style? unveiled recently at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show, the 2014 Toyota Tundra Pickup Truck might just be worthy of your consideration. in fact, the new Tundra should have quite a bit of fans’ attention, cos’ it sports the first major change since 2007, albeit being more of cosmetic than anything else. under the hood, the new 2014 Toyota Tundra Pickup Truck is still offered in the same three power trains: the base 4.0-liter V6 unit that puts out 270 hp with 278 lb-ft of torque, mated to a five-speed auto gearbox; a 310 hp 4.6-liter V8 motor with peak torque of 327 lb-ft, matched to a six-speed auto transmission; and sitting on the food-chain is the 5.7-liter V8 that pumps out 381 hp with a maximum torque of 401 lb-ft, also mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox. highlights include a new chiseled exterior styling, including an all-new front design that integrates the hood and grille for stronger, masculine look, a newly designed rugged bed and tailgate with integrated spoiler, an all-new interior styling that combines refinement and improved functionality, backup camera and Bluetooth, 3.5-inch multi-information display in the gauge cluster, Blind spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert and a new-look instrument panel. available in three trim levels: Limited, Platinum, as well as 1794 Edition (a tribute to the ranch, founded in 1794) with three cab styles: two-door Regular Cab, four-door Double Cab and four-door CrewMax, and a choice of either 4×2 or 4×4, the 2014 Toyota Tundra Pickup Truck is set to roll into Stateside dealerships this September. prices are yet to be announced. and oh, in case you are wondering, the 2014 Toyota Tundra Pickup Truck is fully engineered, designed and assembled in the good’ol US or A. we are not a pro truck observer but one thing for sure is, it will be unlikely for us to see this beauty outside of the USA.
