The SVT Raptor maybe dead, but for those still holding on to the past, you will have something to look forward to and that’s the 2015 Hennessey VelociRaptor 600 Supercharged. Stirred, chopped and diced up by tuning maestro Hennessey Performance, the new VelociRaptor 600 Supercharged boast over 600 horsepower wrung out of a Roots-type supercharger-fitted 5.0L V8 unit, which benefits from a high-flow air induction system, stainless steel exhaust system, upgraded fuel injectors, and Hennessey’s proprietary engine management calibration. The power bump is complemented by nearly 700 lbs in weight saving, making this Hennessey-touched pickup truck a huge stride from the original aluminum-bodied F150 pickup truck it was based on.
Only 500 units of the VelociRaptor 600 Supercharged will be made, starting at $73,500, which includes the base 2015 F150 FX4 Super Crew 5.0L V8. Except for the fact that it will be running on a set of 17-inch Hennessey wheels wrapped in 33-inch BFGoodrich rubbers, we do not know much about what it will be fitted with. But one thing for sure is, it will not be lacking of options, including custom off-road coiler suspension, upgraded front and rear bumpers, front winch, LED light bars, Brembo brakes and more. 500 is not a particular large number to go around and so if you are up for a beautiful utility with crazy horsepower, then you’d be quick to head on to your nearest Ford dealer, or the network of AutoNation’s 37 Ford dealerships to put down your hard earned dough for one. Of course, that’s only if you’re in the America. But you already know that, right?
