looking at the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S, we know it is going to be very fast, but little do we know that it is actually the fastest road-going car, with the exception of the One-77 hypercar, Aston Martin has ever made. it is set to replace the current V12 Vantage and is fitted with a new AM28 engine that yields 565 hp and 620 Nm of torque – a 50 hp and 50 Nm jump over the outgoing model. coupled with a new seven-speed Sportshift III automated manual transmission (AMT), it too has gained a higher top speed of 205 mph (330 km/h). though gaining a gear, this new gearbox is lighter than the outgoing six-speed by a good 25 kg (55 pounds). years of success on the track has gone into this car and what drivers will experience is a V12 Vantage S reeked with race car DNA, permeating through from the engine to the transmission and through to its aerodynamics.

aesthetically, the V12 Vantage S does away with the aluminum vanes and in its place is black carbon fiber or titanium silver mesh inspired by thew new CC100 Speedster Concept. some other highlights include a whole new exhaust system (a derivative of the One-77 hypercar, no less), a three-stage adaptive damping system, motorsport-style paddle shifter, ZF Servotronic power assisted steering with two steering-assist modes, ventilated carbon ceramic brake discs with monobloc calipers, carbon fiber front splitter and rear diffuser, a set 19-inch 10-spoke forged alloy graphite-painted wheels, and a distinctive exterior that includes a black painted roof and part-painted boot panel. price and availability are unknown at this point, but it is safe to say it will definitely take a chunk out of your bank vault. you can find out more about this new beast on the block HERE, but before you go, do check out some awesome images in the gallery below.
