love the GT4 racers you see on the tracks? then the Aston Martin V8 Vantage SP10 Special Edition would be the sports car of choice for you – that’s if you are residing in Europe. drawing its styling cues from the luxury marque’s GT4 racers, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage SP10 Special Edition is fitted with a 436 PS (430 hp) 4.7-liter V8 petrol unit with a peak torque of 490 Nm (361 lb-ft) that’s capable of rocketing from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.5 seconds and maximum speed of 305 km/h (190 mph). with such immense power and styling, you can save yourself some time off the workshop and have more time on your local track. technically, the SP10 is almost identical to the V8 Vantage S but it has, for the first time (for V8 Vantage S), a six-speed manual transmission fitted, which should put a broad smile on any motoring purists. however, there is also option for Sportshift II automated manual seven-speed transmission that the original V8 Vantage S has but now with an additional gear to allow for shorter gear ratios and 20 percent quicker gear changes.

other enhancements include an extremely rigid aluminum chassis, 19-inch cast alloy wheels with V-shaped spokes in diamond turn finish and painted in high-gloss black, matching black calipers, front splitter, carbon rear diffuser, clear rear lamps, a predominately black interior with contrasting silver stitching, Black Alcantara or leather sports steering wheel, piano black center console, and finally rounding off with a roof liner in Black Alcantara (for the coupe model only). other standard equipment include electrically operated seats, satellite navigation, cruise control and Bluetooth integration, along with a 750W premium audio sound system. available in European dealership now with a price tag of €96,635 plus VAT and local charges (around US$130,000). another look of the interior in the image below (click on the image for larger view).
