BLU Vivo 4.65 HD Smartphone
we are always excited whenever there is a new smartphone releases but we are not so thrilled if we are required to be tied to a two-year consumer contract. thankfully, there are still makers out there that believe that a phone should be, well, a phone and its users shouldn’t be a slave to big corporate’s huge profiteering plan. the BLU Vivo 4.65 HD Smartphone happens to be one such phone from one such maker. billed as the big brother of its earlier 4.3-inch model, the Vivo 4.65 HD is equipped with a larger 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED touch display. driven by MediaTek MT6577 dual-core 1.2GHz Cortex A9 processor, it features 1GB of RAM, a 8.0-megapixel autofocus camera with HD video recording and playback capabilities, dual SIM and it will be powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. details remain pretty scant at this point but one thing for sure is, it is not exactly a high-end phone, much less a flagship but with a non-contractual sticker of just $299.99, we really shouldn’t be too picky about it. and oh, it is a 3G/HSPA phone. yeap. 4G LTE, it is not. dropping in January 2013. click on the above image for larger view.
