we don’t know whether to love or hate concept cars. on one hand, they injects excitement and anticipation but on the other, it might just be a fantasy that won’t come true. that’s not to mention the mysterious specifications that often strangles the curious side of us. anyway, though the BMW Concept 4 Series Coupe is termed as a concept and inline with that, is totally lacking of details except for all the marketing mambo-jumbos, we see it as a potential reality. at least, it doesn’t have an aesthetic that look suspiciously out-of-this-world and the fact that the innards are kept in wrap, means it could be powered anything from the current selection of power plants. in any case, we know it is a beauty inside and out and it is longer, broader, a lower roofline and a wider track, front and back, than its predecessor (that’s the 3 Series Coupe). as far as we can tell, this concept is still based on the real world BMW coupe design which includes features like a muscular stance with long wheelbase, long sweeping bonnet (it’s classic!), set-back passenger compartment and short overhang. finally, impressively large five-spoke rolling stocks with low profile rubbers and accents of satin-finish aluminum completes the package. as usual, a concept is still a concept and in place of the lack of details, we have images – which can find after the break – to satisfy us for the time being until God knows when.
