if you happen to be one of those boys who played with Hot Wheels and are all growth up now, the good news is, you can still play with them without having to hide yourself in the attic, away from you boys and the best part is, it will be a full-scale fun. you are looking at the first ever life-size Hot Wheels car, the Chevrolet Camaro Hot Wheels Edition that will be dropping in at dealerships in stateside early next year. like the redline Hot Wheels, this special edition will be gone once they are sold out. expect familiar Hot Wheels features plus other goodies such as a vibrant, graphics-accented metallic paint job (in this case, its Kinetic Blue), a set of Hot Wheels-style black 21-inch wheels complete with red outline stripe, ZL1 rear spoiler (coupe models only) and front upper grille, ground effects package that comprises of front splitter and rocker treatment, two-tone matte hood graphic, rear taillight panel ‘blackout’ graphic, fender ‘flame’ graphics and not forgetting the mandatory Hot Wheels logos. blister pack not included.

differentiating itself from the tiny counterpart is, it has a interior in black leather trim with red and black seat stitching, embroidered Hot Wheels logo on the front seats, black inserts on the doors and instrument panel with Hot Wheels-style flame decal on each door, Hot Wheels Edition sill plates, plus Camaro-logo premium floor mats with, you guessed it, red edging. this growth up Hot Wheels ride is available in coupe and convertible models – in 2LT V6 and 2SS V8 trims. in SS form, it is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 and offered in L99 for the auto version and LS3 on the manual ride. the L99 puts out 400 horses (298 kW) with 556 Nm of torque (410 lb-ft) and comes standard with Active Fuel Management while the LS3 develops 426 ponies (318 kW) with 569 Nm of torque (420 lb-ft). powering the LT-based models is a ‘LFX’ 3.6-liter V6 unit with dual-overhead camshafts, variable valve timing and direct injection, giving it a rate power of 323 horsepower (240 kW). some other features to expect include a dual-mode exhaust system on the manual SS models and on both types of transmission for the LT models and Chevy’s MyLink infortainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen display comes as standard across all models. more look after the break.
