When we talked about LEGO Star Wars, be it custom or not, stuff like Star Destroyer, TIE Fighter, X-Wing Fighter comes to mind. That said, not often you will find fan-made, much less the official set, that features lesser but no less impressive spaceships. This is where MOC enthusiast Morten Svendsen stands out in the world of Star Wars MOCs. He built a massive and super detailed model of the much overlooked craft called Nebulon-B Medical Frigate. Well, you don’t see Nebulon-B often in the original trilogy. In fact, you probably only had a glimpse in The Empire Strikes Back when Luke Skywalker was onboard to have his severed hand fixed and that was that.
Notwithstanding the little limelight it had, Svendsen had it made out of thousand of bricks with over 500 different types. The reason for having that mind-boggling number of types of bricks is obvious: the no details are spared – right down to the medical bay window where the iconic scene of Luke, Leia, and the droids were at when they witnessed Millennium Falcon with Lando and Chewbacca departs in search for the abducted Han Solo. Man, this guy must have watched the scene at least a thousand times to be able to achieve that level of accuracy and details.
