Ferrari is doing its bit to provide some financial assistance to the families of the Emilia earthquake victims by putting up some exclusive items for a charity auction that runs from June 6th 4:00PM to June 20th 4:00PM CET. the Ferrari 599XX Evo you see here is one of the many things that Ferrari put up for auction. this beautiful example here has a starting bid of €1,350,000 (around US$1.69 million). the 599XX Evo is part of a special series of track-only laboratory cars from the prancing horse marque. however, what makes it even more exclusive is, this particular car will be personalized with a commemorative plaque signed by Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo and Scuderia drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa. the car boast a 750 CV (740 horsepower) engine with 700 Nm of torque and features a completely new active aerodynamic setup that includes an active rear wing and a host of aero parts for improved downforce and braking. other highlights include second-generation Race magnetorheological suspension with lower center of gravity, new tires, evolved ESP and F1-Trac calibrations, and side exhausts. the eventual winner of this particular auction will be inducted into the 599XX program, which includes 14 events on the world’s most exclusive circuits in 2012-13. additionally, that one winner will get the honor of being presented with the Ferrari 599XX Evo by the Scuderia Ferrari drivers at the Monza Grand Prix. head past the jump for a few more look and clip of the 599XX Evo in action.
