no. the ‘F12berlinetta’ is not a typo. that’s the name of the latest sports car from the prancing horse marque, destined to replace the 599. slated to make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show next week, this delicious coupe is powered by a naturally aspirated 6,262cc (6.2-liter) V12 engine in 65-degree configuration that puts out 740 horsepower (544 kW) and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque to its rear wheels. couple with its Ferrari F1 dual-clutch paddle-shift gearbox, the F12berlinetta makes the century sprint in a mere 3.1 seconds and a top speed of more than 340 km/h (211 mph) – making it the fastest and most powerful Ferrari road car to date. other features expected include all-new aluminum spaceframe chassis (with a mix of 12 different alloys), Active Brake Cooling, Aero Bridge for increase downforce, carbon-ceramic brakes, magnetorheological dampers, and full suited of electronic control systems that encompass E-Diff, ESP Premium and F1-Trac. the Ferrari F12berlinetta will go into production mid of this year and expect shipment from end of 2012 or early 2013. hit the jump for a gallery of this beautiful machine.
