working with Atelier Antoine PALOMARES, GREG has given the skateboard a midas touch in the form of 22 carats gold leaf finish. the gold leafing process is done by none other than Atelier Antoine PALOMARES who has five generations of experience in the gold leaf process under its belt and is widely considered as the world’s finest craftsmen. as beautiful as it looks, this fine example is not without its fragility, and hence it is protected from touches by a transparent plexiglass box. the gold leaf is very delicate and thus any contact with fingers would leave a very bad oxidizing trace. therefore it is the best interest for it to be kept within this beautiful crystal frame that allows appreciation of its beauty for years to come.
