the word has it that the year 2012 will be end of the world but some believed that instead of the world actually ending, the apocalypse will bring about a new threat to those who survived: zombies. needless to say, if that happens, these fresh-craving undead will be out to make you their snack. in a typical zombie horror movie fashion, survivors will band together and huddle themselves in crudely modified armored trucks, roaming the land in search for others who are lucky enough to make it. however, if there are only one or two of you left, why bother yourself with the cumbersome truck when you could zip around the dead’s town with a whole lot more agility in a Hyundai Zombie Survival Machine?

this Elantra-based Zombie Survival Machine may not be as roomy as a van or truck would be (sorry folks, we don’t think a pantry would fit in there) but it is no less potent, especially when you consider these features: a front-end zombie plow complete with spikes, all-terrain tires with long, protruding spikes, armored window coverings, a roof hatch, a trunkful of electric and pneumatic weaponry, front and back end floodlights, and a handy CB radio system for your communication need. in case you need to get out of the safety of your vehicle for a leak, grab a couple of machetes that are kept handy between the driver and the front passenger just in case you stumble upon any stray zombies. wrapping up the package is a limited edition “owners manual” that illustrates your coupe’s capability against the undead.

by now, it should be clear to you that this is not a coupe that you will be seeing in your local dealers anytime soon but merely a marketing campaign by Hyundai America but we still love it regardless. click through for a few more look at this awesome vehicle, which we hope that won’t be needing in near future.
