LG 38-inch UltraWide Curved Computer Monitor

If you view and edit multiple documents simultaneously, or need to put together enormous graphics or video, or simply constantly multitask, then I am sure LG’s new 38-inch UltraWide monitor, 38UC99, will come in pretty handy. As per the product name, this ginormous display offers 38-inch (diagonal, of course) provides an unprecedented real estate to display everything you need to see at a glance, as opposed to having to side scroll ever so often.

Presented through an advanced In-Plane Switching panel that offers 21:9 aspect ratio and UltraWide QHD+ (3,840 x 1,600) resolution, this behemoth of computer monitor also touts a wide color gamut which LG claims to cover 99 percent of the sRGB color space and one millisecond Motion Blur Reduction that reduces afterimages when dealing with face-paced moving images, such as in an face-paced game. That’s right, LG is happy to let you know that this monitor is not all work without play. It is perfectly suited for entertainment too, video gaming included, and there’s onboard sound to match (kind of), offered by a pair 10W built-in Bluetooth compatible speakers with Rich Bass audio.

In effect, this monitor could be a part of your desktop entertainment setup, but that’s only if you are ok to shell out $1,499 for a unit. It boasts customizability, such as color settings and such, through Onscreen Control software and My Display Preset. Last but not the least, LG 38-inch UltraWide Curved Computer Monitor also happens to be the first UltraWide monitor to sport a USB Type-C port which you can used for charging and syncing of smartphone, or transfer files with the use of a single cable.

Essentially, this is a serious display aimed squarely the professional, but hey, if you have the money to spare, it could be your gaming monitor too. Though LG also has a less enormous display (38UC79G) geared towards gamers, going at a more wallet-friendly $699 a pop.
