LG is clearly not a luxury brand, but with the help U.S. retail jewelry company REEDS Jewelers, the South Korean electronics giant’s LG Watch Urbane has been turned into a luxurious wearable tech, aptly dubbed LG Watch Urbane Luxe. First introduced at IFA 2015 in Berlin, pre-orders of luxe-up Watch Urbane have been fulfilled and it is now available at REEDS Jewelers stores across the U.S., as well as REEDS online store. The product of over 40 artisans, the Watch Urbane Luxe comes clad in an opulent 23-karat gold heavy plate and paired to a handcrafted Mahogany alligator leather watch band, and is presented in an exclusive piano gloss lacquer case.
The exclusivity and level of luxury is further bolstered by engraved edition number on each smart timepiece and accompanied by a hand-signed certificate of authenticity. And the price? $1,195 and that’s for a smartwatch. Oh wait. Or was it a luxury watch? Never mind. All we know is, it does look pretty dope. Also, if Mahogany ain’t your cuppa, you can choose to personalized it with other band colors, like Carmine Red, Cobalt Blue, Hunter Green, Onyx Black, and Pearl White.
