Macbook Selfie Stick

Well, actually, you can’t. I mean the MacBook Selfie Stick is a real thing, but in a way, it is not. You see, this weird product is actually an art project by trio Moises, Joh Yuyi, and Tom Galle, which means it ain’t available as a product your money can buy. It’s as weird as it is interesting, though we do find a little sarcasm in it. Like kind of mocking the whole narcissistic pop culture we are experiencing today. Anyways, a little about this in-your-face selfie stick. It is like any regular size selfie stick, except that it is significantly thicker to handle the weight of a laptop.

That said, it comes complete with a telescoping pole that starts with a handle, presumably with rubber grip, and ends with a platform of sort that acts as a mount for securing your precious, but no less weighty MacBook and leverages on its built-in iSight camera to take selfie (may we suggest you use Photo Booth app found on Mac OS?). We can’t imagine the weight one has to handle on one end. In physics, that could worked out to be quite a heft. Anyways, like the Selfie Arm, you never know if this thing will become a real product. If the artists don’t sell it, perhaps somebody would pick it up and turn it into a real product? Just maybe.
