Based on the recently released Woburn speaker system, this limited edition set is spruced up by iconic American contemporary mens’ wear designer, John Varvatos and bears stylish features like washed and heat-stamped black full grain Italian calfskin leather for the crinkled look, numbered antique brass insignia with John Varvatos’ name, and Marshall logo in matching antique brass. Only 300 fine examples will be made and they will go on sale on March 10, 2015 at select John Varvatos stand-alone stores across US and UK, as well as Marshall Headphones web store.

As you might have guessed, Varvatos’ involvement are limited to cosmetics; the rest of the speaker system is essentially the same as the ‘standard’ Woburn with worthy mentions like two one-inch Ferrofluid-cooled dome tweeter, two 5 1/4-inch woofers, digital Class D amplifier, Bluetooth 4.0 technology, EDR and aptX support, optical input, RCA connectors, 3.5mm audio line-in, LED indicators, analog treble, bass and volume knobs, and power saver mode. It will of course, comes with Marshall Headphones’ trademark 3.5mm coiled double ended cable. As for the price, it is not available at the time of this writing. But be prepared for a sticker of that’s over $550 (which is the price of the ‘regular’ Woburn). And also, there is no mention of color, so we are assuming that it will only be available in black. We might be wrong though.
