If you like very spicy food and think you have taste it all, think again. Also, if you think how spicy a single chip could be, well, we ask you to think again too. If a chip (yes, that’s ONE chip there) claim to be “hot as hell,” such as in the case of the Carolina Reaper Madness Chip from chips maker Paqui, and as one chip per packet, then you know it is, VERY VERY hot. Well, it ought to be, you know, for the company to lay claim as “the hottest chip in the world.”
Just so you know it is indeed crazy spicy, each of these quarter circle packets is stuffed into a miniature coffin box dressed in an internationally recognizable color of spicy: red, and littered with information of the “one chip challenge,” along with suitable amount of warnings of how ‘deadly’ this lone chip really is, as well as doodles of the Grim Reaper to further reinforce this hot notion. Wait, there’s more. There’s actually video, which you can find embedded below, of some challengers taking a bite of this supposed hottest chip in the world and if we may say, their reactions should serve as a fair warning of what you are in for.

However, if you are not comfortable with showing your tormented face on video, which is part of the rules, then you will need to shell out $4.99 (its coming soon, btw) in order to have the opportunity to give your tongue and mouth the torture of the lifetime. I think I will give it a pass cos’ just the other day I had a relatively spicy chicken curry noodles which my stomach suffered as a consequence. Guess I don’t have a strong stomach after all.
