combining the best of off-road performance and luxury is what the Mercedes-Benz GL 63 AMG is all about. equipped with a AMG 5.5-litre V8 biturbo petrol unit that delivers a healthy 557 horsepower (410 kW) and 760 Nm (560 lb-ft) of torque, the GL 63 AMG makes a century sprint in 4.9 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph), while offering a comfortable ride for up to seven passengers. some of the features include AMG RIDE CONTROL sports suspension with ACTIVE CURVE SYSTEM roll stabilization, AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC, ECO start/stop function, automatic double-declutching for downshifting, 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive, 4ETS electronic traction control system, AMG speed-sensitive sports steering, AMG high-performance braking system and 21″ AMG 5-spoke light alloy wheels in titanium grey and high-sheen finish, wrapped in wide 295 rubbers. of course, there is also the aesthetic to go along with its awesome performance. in this case, the GL 63 AMG is fitted with signature AMG styling cues that include high-gloss radiator grille slats in black, AMG front and rear aprons, Bi-xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights, AMG instrument cluster, AMG Performance 4-spoke steering wheel, electrically adjusted sports seats adorned with AMG badges, aluminum shift paddles, AMG-branded door sill panels, floor mats and sport pedals. needless to say, the list is not exhaustive as you can expect a host of other standard equipment that Mercedes-Benz is known for. the Mercedes-Benz GL 63 AMG is scheduled for market launch in November 2012. in the mean time, check out a gallery of the GL 63 AMG after the break.
