MINI Cooper S 5 Door

despite the size bump in the new MINI, a three-door body is not quite a crowd-pleaser, especially if you have a family to pull around town. with that in mind, MINI introduces you to the new five-door variant, simply known as MINI 5 Door. with the MINI 5 Door, overall length is increased by 161 mm to 3,982 mm (4,005 mm on Cooper S 5 Door and Cooper SD 5 Door), while the wheelbase sees a bump by 72 mm, thus affording more legroom for the three seats at the rear. it also has 15 mm more headroom and 61 mm more interior width, plus a larger 278 liters trunk. additionally, you will still get the 60:40 split fold seat that could temporary increase your cargo hold if required.

apart from the obvious difference in body style, the MINI 5 Door is still a MINI that you have come to love with signature styling cues including the hexagonal radiator grille, wide chrome surround on headlamps and taillights, black body element bordering the vehicle – just to name a few. basically, what you have here is the fun of the MINI plus the practicality of a 5-door body that allows your rear passengers easy ingress and egress, which also means no more getting out of the front seat in order to let the passengers into or out of the rear seats. sounds like awesome, if you ask us. at market launch, the MINI 5 Door will be available in four models: two petrol and two diesel engines of the new generation available with MINI TwinPower Turbo Technology.
