speaker systems are a dime a dozen in the market and obviously, we can’t be featuring each and everyone out there but there comes a time where we stumble upon a couple that we felt it will be criminal if we didn’t share it with you. the Minuskull just happens to be one of those speaker worthy of mention. as the name suggest, the Minuskull is shaped to resemble a skeleton head, albeit being a cartoonist one but it makes sense too, cos’ most of us wouldn’t want to be sharing our humble abode with a life-like skull, isn’t it? under the hood are a pair of broadband Fostex Fe-83 drivers with banana leaf pulp-made membrane, a mini subwoofer, and a custom-made 50W Mosfet amplifier. a set of RCA input allows for connection to virtually any sound source such as iPod, MP3 player, computer or whatever you fancy. you can even set up a pair of stereo speaker system or swarm your living with five of them to create a home cinema sound system. however, it is wise to note that the Minuskull doesn’t come cheap: each of these will set you back at €1,600 each (about US$2,140).
