if you love the sophisticated look of classic cars but concerned about driving a real classic would harm the environment, then you would love Morgan Motor and now you should love it even more if the Morgan Motor Electric Plus E becomes a reality. style in the iconic old school look that Morgan’s been known for, the Electric Plus E is fitted with a 94 horsepower (70 kW) 380Nm (280 lb-ft) Zytek electric motor, mated to a conventional five-speed manual gearbox that is capable of propelling this rear-wheel drive drop top from zero to hundred (0 – 62 mph) in just 6.0 seconds and sending it to a top speed of 185 km/h (115 mph). the range of this plug-in electric is expected to be 120 miles (about 193 km). though the Morgan Motor Electric Plus E is a concept, it might just turn out to be a reality. speaking of which, you can register your interest for this electric car over at Morgan Motor’s official website. our feel is, if there are enough interest, it might very well be a reality in a not so distant future. hit the jump for a small gallery of this cool electric roadster.
