Nike is constantly pushing out new Air Force 1 sneakers which is hard for us to keep track or feature. And thus, we make a point to only pick out Air Force 1 that are truly unique in look, such as the AF1 that’s covered in raw cork material, or this one here that has ballistic nylon in the mix amongst premium full grain leather, introduced recently. The former material gives this pair of kicks a very military feel and the olive (or black, the other color Nike is offering for men) colorway, along with a gum color outsole only serve to reinforce that notion.
But material and colorway aren’t the only things that give this pair of kicks the military aura; in tactical twist, the new adjustable angle straps also serve as handles for the special field tote and also, there’s an espionage tongue storage for stashing small items such as keys and cash. To be honest, the Nike Special Field Air Force 1 had me at ballistic nylon and olive colorway, though we thought the black looks pretty rad too. Ladies won’t be left either cos’ Nike Special Field Air Force 1 is also available in women’s sizes but in two different colorways, namely, Light Bone and Golden Beige, and they sport color-matched mid and outsole, instead of the gum color.
The Nike Special Field Air Force 1 Sneakers is supposedly available now via SNKRS app and select global retailers. Though we find it odd that they aren’t available online. We have looked several times over the past two days but we see no Nike Special Field Air Force 1 on Nike.com. Anyways, you are looking at a $185 investment if you are want to own a pair.
