there’s nothing like a good camera that has all the goodness of today’s imaging innovations and still bears the traditional aesthetic. let’s be honest: even if go all rah-rah about a camera’s performance, we still want the look to match and the Olympus OM-D Digital Camera is just that camera that will let you into the best of both worlds. thanks to its Micro Four Thirds technology and magnesium alloy material, the OM series camera is able to sport a compact, and yet lightweight body. and that’s not all. the camera is enhanced with the same dust and splash-proof qualities that has already been proven with the E-5 camera. under the hood lives a 16.05-megapixels Live MOS Sensor that works in sync with the TruePic VI image processor. other features include electronic viewfinder, five-axis image stabilization technology that covers both stills and video recordings, fast AF autofocusing with 3D tracking, 9-fps fast sequential shooting, a 3.0-inch swivel-type OLED capacitive touch display, and 3D photography. the Olympus OM-D Digital Camera will be available in a few configurations, including a body-only kit, the E-M5 lens kit, and the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED lens kit. expect this beauty to hit the stores sometime end of March 2012 with a yet to be determined price. click through for a few more look.
