you have enjoyed using it on your iPhone, now a dedicated version of this fast mobile browser is coming to iPad. while the current version of Opera Mini for iPhone and iPod Touch, also works with iPad but it is after all, still a small browser for a big display. the dedicated version of the Opera Mini will make full use of the real estate that the iPad has. no other details as to what features we will see in the new Opera Mini for iPad until its official launch next week at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.

here’s an excerpt of the Press Release from Opera:

“Our developers have been hard at work building the mobile browser of the future — for both consumers and mobile operators,” said Lars Boilesen, CEO, Opera Software. “We want our browser to impact lives in a meaningful way. It’s one reason we use mostly renewable resources to power Opera Mini’s servers. It’s why we make it light, so you don’t have to recharge your battery every few hours. It’s why Opera Mini and Opera Mobile can help operators reduce the bandwidth that clogs their networks. A browser may never change the world, but we’ll never stop trying to.”

new versions of the Opera Mini browser for Android, iPhone, J2ME, Blackberry and Symbian, as well as new versions of the Opera Mobile for Android and Symbian platforms will also be launched at the MWC next week.
