do you love to surf the Internet on the go without being bogged down by the heft of say, a laptop or to some extend, a tablet? yeah. sometimes travel light can go to quite an extreme and we are guilty of that. if so, then a large screen smartphone should do the trick and that being said, what’s better than having one that’s slapped with a 5-inch display? speaking of which, Chinese maker, OPPO has one new (and pretty sleek) contender if you are in the market for one giant phone. dubbed the Oppo Find 5 Smartphone, this Android-powered handset features a 1920 x 1080 resolution multi-touch IPS display with OGS full lamination technology and a whopping 441PPI pixel density (about 35 percent more than iPhone 5, if you are counting). along with a gorgeous, eye-watering display, is a speedy 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro (APQ8064) quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. the Find 5 smartphone also boast a massive 13.0-megapixel autofocus main camera with dual LED flash and for the front, a slightly more modest 1.9-megapixel item. other highlights include Adreno 320 graphics processor, an ultra narrow 3.5mm display border, 16GB of built-in storage, built-in Dirac HD Sound optimization, a high capacity 2,150 mAh battery and the usual slew of sensory and connectivity including DLNA, NFC, WiFi Display, WiFi, WiFi Hotspot, GPS/A-GPS, G-sensor, 3-axis gyroscope and light and proximity sensors. no specifics were offer with regard to its actual physical size but from what we see, it has a pretty slim form factor which needless to say, draws us to it. available soon in China market with a 2,998 RMB price tag (around US$480) and will be running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean at launch. another look after the break.
