Pal Strap GPS and Extended Battery Strap for Pebble Time

For those who laments about the lack of GPS in Pebble Time and Pebble Time Steel smart timepieces, Pal Strap is here to save the day. Pal Strap is a lightweight, durable strap that not only adds a standalone GPS to your Pebble, but it also extends its battery life to provide you with an additional seven days of usage. Both the Pebble and Pal Strap uses the same charger, so you can recharge both devices without any added hassle. With the GPS, a Qualcomm SiRF GPS module, your Pebble will have the ability to track speed, distance, elevation and route and keep those data for up to 24 hours without needing to be connected to a smartphone.

When a smartphone is available, you can then sync Pal Strap with the companion app, available for Android and iOS, and share those data with your friends and family through social media platform of your choosing. The onboard GPS is powered by the Pal Strap’s 250 mAh lithium-ion battery which will start charging the Pebble only when you manually activate a button, or when Pebble’s battery falls below a certain level. Pal Strap is water resistance, though it is worthy to note that it is unlikely to survive activities like swimming or diving.
