The Plastic Bottle Cutter impresses us with two things: it breaks down PET bottles into usable ‘ropes’ that has a variety of applications and two, the French folks behind it did not throw crazy environment-related numbers in our face to convince why you should get it. Seriously, we don’t need numbers to tell us it is time to save this ailing planet, right? Anywho, as the product name implies, this thing cuts plastic bottle but not in the conventional way; it does so by turning them into long strips, much like ropes, which you can use for tying things, art decorations and more. It is adjustable, allowing you to turn out ropes of variety of thickness in a matter of minutes.
However, there are a couple of things to do before you can actually turn plastic bottles into ropes and that include getting rid of any ridge the bottle may have (like using a heat gun) and cutting the bottom out to fit the cutter. It is an interesting tool to have whether you are cutting down the plastic bottles to reduce the volume of plastic bottles so the recycling bin can take more, or you are breaking them down for your own DIY uses. The Plastic Bottle Cutter could have a place along with with scissors, knives and et cetera. I mean, most people don’t cut everyday, but they still own a pair of scissors anyways, right? Think you get the idea.
