Porsche unveiled China 10th anniversary gold edition 911
time really passes us real quick. 10 years has passed since Porsche made its appearance in China auto market and to mark this joyous occasion, it has unveiled a special edition 911 based on the Porsche 911 Turbo S. finished in a gold body, this special edition 911 sports a contrasting carbon fiber and rear spoiler, pronouncing that this isn’t your run-of-the-mill Porsche 911 Turbo S.
the livery of this special edition vehicle remains the same as its standard counterpart. for the uninitiated, it has a 3.8-liter turbocharged 6-cylinder engine mated to a 7-speed PDK transmission. the force induction engine has a rated power of 523 hp (390 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque that allows the 911 to propel to 100 km/h (62 mph) from standstill in just 3.3 seconds and reaching a terminal speed of 315 km/h (196 mph).
i guess, the performance figures are more than ample for this vehicle and therefore, highlights are on its aesthetic department. aside from its striking gold exterior with dashed of carbon fiber, the interior features Alcantara sport seats (buckets, no less), exclusive sill plates, Sport Design steering wheel, unique floor mats while the rest of the interior is accented with carbon fiber trims. as you would have expected, a special edition car like this will also sport special badging.
no word on the pricing at this point in time but what we know is this gorgeous beast will have a limited run of just 10 units.
