before you know it, Razer has again unleashed their third generation Razer Blade gaming laptops. it took a while for us to understand these where new because unlike Apple products, these beauties do not come with model year with it and hence the moment of confusion. however, with the inclusion of a 14-inch model (touted as the world’s thinnest gaming laptop) and the latest Haswell-based Intel processor, we knew we are looking at some totally wicked new stuff. don’t blame us. they all look the same in black. the smaller of the two, the 14-incher features a 14-inch HD+ LED backlit display boasting 1,600 x 900 resolution (16:9 AR) and sports a MacBook Pro-like speaker design which sits on either side of the keyboard. other highlights of the 14-inch item includes 8GB worth of DDR3L RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 765 GPU with 2GB VRAM, 128GB SSD (with options for 256/512GB SSD), Wifi (a/b/g/n) and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, “array microphone”, three USB 3.0 ports, HDMI 1.4a output, Dolby Home Theater and 7.1 Codec support, built-in Full HD webcam, Razer Anti-Ghosting Keyboard (backlit and adjustable), a built-in 70 Wh rechargeable lithium-ion battery, and it is naturally, Razer Synapse 2.0-enabled.

as for the Razer Blade Pro, the firm is touting it as a laptop designed for work and for play. we all know what play means, as for the work aspect, Razer is targeting musicians, photographers, videographers, and even game designers, which the company believe the Pro is very much up to the tasks. why wouldn’t be? also packing Intel 4th-gen quad-core i7 processors, this new mobile gaming beast basically have what the 14-inch model has, plus a 17.3-inch Full HD LED backlit display and a Razer Switchblade User Interface built into it. it also has a 2MP HD webcam instead of a 1.3MP item found on the 14-inch model and it is a tad bigger capacity battery – a 74 Wh pack which is said to give this rig up to 6 hours of usage. both machines will be available for pre-order from June 03, starting at $1,799 for the 14-inch model and $2,299 for the 17″ juggernaut. more look in the gallery after the break.
