Samsung Galaxy Player is the Korean electronics gadget powerhouse’s answer to Apple’s iPod Touch and the latest to join its Galaxy Player line is version 3.6 and in due course, the 4.2. both media players are powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread and features WiFi connectivity for downloading media contents, streaming of music and videos, and surfing the web. the players are also equipped with front- and rear-facing cameras with a 3.2-megapixel item and 2.0-megapixel for the 4.2 and 3.6 models, respectively. the 4.2 and 3.6 differs mainly in screen sizes and battery capacities: the 4.2 sports a 4.2-inch WVGA (800 x 480) multi-touch display and 1,500 mAh Li-ion battery that’s good for 8-hours of playback, while the 3.6-inch gets a 3.65-inch HVGA (480 x 320) multi-touch display and a 1,200 mAh Li-ion for 5 hours of playback. features common to both includes FM radio, multi-format support for video, audio and image files, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, USB 2.0, 8GB of internal storage and SD/MMC expansion slot that support up to 32GB. the Samsung Galaxy Player 3.6 is available now with a sticker of $149.99, while the Galaxy Player 4.2 will be available mid-May with a price tag of $199.99. click through for a few more look.
