Yup. It is happening. There’s going to be an Iron Man Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge coming your way, though details are still foggy at this point. Apparently, the South Korean electronic giant have posted a teaser image to its official Twitter account a couple of days ago, showing the special edition handset’s packaging. However, that post was removed for reasons unknown to us. The lone image was an obvious indication of the imminent arrival of the Iron Man-themed Galaxy S6 Edge. No images of the handset were offered, but it isn’t hard to imagine what it will look like. If anything, it would be the iconic hot rod red and gold treatment.
That said, now that the S6 Edge finally gets its due metallic treatment, the familiar red/gold colorway should look pretty stunning given that the color will have a chance to shine and look more, well, Iron Man-like. The choice of S6 Edge over the S6 as the phone of choice for this special edition also signifies the company’s direction, which in our humble opinion, means putting S6 Edge as the current de facto flagship. We’re not sure if the Iron Man-themed Galaxy S6 Edge is the only collaboration between Samsung and Marvel, but we are not surprise if it is the only one, considering that Iron Man is kind of a big deal in Marvel Cinematic Universe, while the rest, not so much.
No word where it will be available, but word is the availability would “differ by region,” which simply translates to not all market will get it. Obvious.
