tech-geeks who pay attention to every single detail, right down to the cables they use will be delighted that SANUS, the AV accessories maker, has announced the new Super Slim HDMI Cables. the cable is said to have a gauge that is almost 50% thinner than traditional HDMI cables, allowing it to contort in tight spaces and are available in three lengths: 2.5-feet (ELM4303), 6-feet (ELM4306) and 8-feet (ELM4308). beside the obvious support for 1080p transmission (up 16-bit color depth), it is also 3D capable and features a 40% shorter connectors for easy connection behind mounted TVs. the clever design uses an ultra-flexible cable design that bends easily without kinking thus giving installer a peace of mind when installing the cable in tight spaces. last but not least, the cable also boast an integrated Ethernet cable that offers high-speed Internet connectivity to compatible devices, thus negating the need for a separate cable. though, details remain scant on this particular feature. however, don’t get too excited about this product yet cos’ there is no word on the price or when it will hit the stores. a couple more look after the break.
