conservation of energy should be instill from young and so it only makes sense to grab toys that could educate junior about it? this tiny little thing called Solar Tiny Power Car is one such toy. it may not stack up to those complex (and pricey, if we might add) kit that supposedly teaches your kids about green energy, it is still a perfect example of solar power at work and best of all, it only cost $9.90 a pop, which is a far cry from those kits that supposedly to be educational, but is in fact, out to burn a hole in your pocket. the Solar Tiny Power Car is absolutely a no-frill toy car. it has no battery to replace and it will keep on going as long as there is sunlight.
measuring a diminutive 30 x 22 x 14 mm, the Solar Tiny Power Car features an incredibly simple setup; it has a proportionally huge solar panel of 20 by 15m up top, hooked up directly to a small motor which in turns spin the wheels to drive the miniature solar car forward and basically, that’s all there is to it. no frills, no fuss and precisely why it is so pretty damn attractive. a suggestion though. build a guide track for it, so that it don’t just go straight. or maybe, even some side-by-side tracks, so a few can ‘race’ against each other. that will definitely add more fun and also eliminates the scenario of you sweeping under the sofa or cabinet looking for it. remember, it is very tiny. that said, it is not suitable for very young kids, cos’ it could be a potential choking hazard.
