similar to a racing game steering wheel set, a good flight stick also needs a good rig for an immersive game play. however, a realistic cockpit is something of a fantasy to ordinary folks like us. lucky for us, there exists a middle path that sits between mounting your expensive flight stick on your regular desk and a true-to-life flight cockpit. this is where the Speedmaster Flight comes in. at the first glance, it may look like your regular budget racing game seat but it is actually designed specifically for advanced flight stick like the Thrustmaster HOTAS Warhog joystick. constructed from round tube steel finished in matt black power coating, this setup offers the basic flight simulator system that takes up a minimal area of 1.5-meter by 0.55-meter or about 0.83 m2. features include a buckle-style flight seat in faux leather and four support platforms, including platforms for throttle (left), flight stick (center), keyboard and HUD, as well as a pedal plate. most suited for simulating aircraft with center flight stick but if right hand flight stick position is what you are after, you can purchase the optional right hand platform for a modest price of $19.90. the Speedmaster Flight is available now with an introductory price tag of €449 (US$590). another look after the break.
