if you have drooled all over the TAG Heuer Jack Heuer 80th Birthday Carrera introduced early last year, then we suspect you might be dehydrated by the TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 1887 Chronograph Jack Heuer Edition as well. at least we know we did and that didn’t stop while i was putting this post together. based on the Carrera Mikrogirder, the TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 1887 Chronograph Jack Heuer Edition features a 45mm asymmetrical case inspired by vintage stopwatch and crafted from black titanium carbide steel (‘hug’ by polished, fine brushed and sandblasted steel cage), top side-located pushers and crown (hence, the ‘stopwatch’ look), tachymetre and pulsometre scale on the dial with contrasting red and silver markers and a smoked sapphire caseback that you have a glimpse of its 1887 movement, foregrounded by Jack Heuer’s signature and coat of arms. a really beautiful time piece that makes us want to auction off our assets, if any, to acquire it and we are not kidding – though, we are hoping for a larger case, like say, 48mm. no words on the pricing and availability at this point. learn more about the TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 1887 Chronograph Jack Heuer Edition HERE. check out a trio of larger views after the break.
