After much talk, Amazon Prime Air Delivery finally made its first customer delivery in UK on the December 7, 2017. During this monumental delivery, the autonomous drone, which looks entirely different from the one we saw earlier, embarked on a fully autonomous journey from a nearby fulfilment center to one Richard B. living in Cambridgeshire, England. The aircraft, which has a payload of up to 5 lbs (about 2.3 kilograms), flew at a height of up to 400 feet (122 meters) to make its way to the customer without any form of human intervention. The President of the United States flies on Air Force One. The stuff you bought off Amazon could be flying on a One too, but obviously, your package will not be hitching a ride on the President’s official airplane. Instead, it could be onboard Amazon One, the online retail giant’s first ever air cargo plane. While hooking up with air cargo provider to deliver goods is not new to Amazon’s operations, Amazon One marks the outfit’s first ever branded air cargo plane and it is one of the 40 the company has agreed to lease through air cargo partners Atlas Air and ATSG. The online retail giant has taken Kickstarter Collection under its Launchpad’s wing which, for starter, boasts over 300 Kickstarter products across five ‘themes’, including STEM Products, Always Be Learning, Exquisite Objects, Inventing The Future, and Public Benefit. So, here it is the Kindle Oasis, a rather eccentric looking eReader from the online retail giant. So what’s new? First off, it has an unconventional off-center display and a profile that measures just 3.4mm for almost 2/3 of the device and a tapered bump that is 8.5mm at its thickest portion. Well, if only Bill Batson had a Amazon Dash Button for Trojan, then he wouldn’t be involved in an accident when he was out buying condoms. Yup. That’s the Amazon Dash Button… for buying condoms at a touch of a button. According to the condom maker’s survey, one in five did not use condom because neither partner had a condom, adding that the company is “excited to work with Amazon to deliver Trojan condoms right to consumer’s door with the push of a button.” The announcement of this new and quick way of acquiring condoms also coincides with April’s National STI Awareness Month.
