Functional NERF Blaster Made Out Of LEGO Is Absolutely Awesome

There’s no arguing that the world’s famous bricks, AKA LEGO, spur creativity like no other. Heck, even grown ups find these plastic bricks a blast to tinkle with outside of official sets. Speaking blast, YouTube channel Astonishing Studios’ has created a LEGO replica of Hasbro’s NERF Maverick REV-6 foam dart blaster which is yet another testimony of LEGO’s versatility. The most impressive part about Astonishing Studios’ LEGO NERF Gun is, beyond striking resemblance to the original NERF foam dart shooter, it actually works. Meet Mastodon, The Biggest Foam Dart-shooting NERF Blaster Ever

No. Mastodon is not a relative to the prehistoric shark, Megalodon. In fact, it is not even remotely related to any living things, ancient or not, much less to a shark. It is NERF’s biggest foam dart-shooting blaster to date, though technically, it is not the biggest NERF gun cos’ we already saw how big the biggest NERF Blaster was. But it is true that Mastodon is the biggest factory-produced blaster in NERF arsenal to date, stretching a nearly 3-feet (86 cm) long and weighing in as much as a laptop at 7.3 lbs (3.3 kg). Not only it is the biggest NERF blaster yet, but it is also the first motorized NERF Mega blaster, boasting a rotary magazine and powered by a motor that enables it to spit out 24 foam darts 100 feet (about 30 meters) downrange in under 20 seconds. Guy Reimagined NERF Vulcan Into A Fast Foam Dart-spitting Gatling Gun

Office warfare is a thing. Though we are not sure if it still is since the resurrection of Pokémon. Assuming it still is, the obvious ‘weapon’ of choice would be NERF and with NERF, firepower is everything. That said, if you find yourself losing every single time, then perhaps you are not putting enough foam darts downrange, which means your foam dart-spitting firearm is in dire need of a serious upgrade, such as, for example, turning a run-of-the-mill NERF Vulcan into a Gatling Gun. Yep. A Gatling Gun otherwise known as a minigun and why not? Continue reading Guy Reimagined NERF Vulcan Into A Fast Foam Dart-spitting Gatling Gun

Former NASA Engineer Built The World’s Biggest NERF Gun

Forget what Hasbro tells you about which of its Nerf gun is the most powerful, because there’s a new king of Nerf in town and it wins by sheer size, and by sheer size, we do mean really, really BIG. The Nerf gun in the spotlight is created by former NASA engineer and YouTuber Mark Rober with the help of fellow YouTubers over at Eclectical Engineering and it takes on the shape inspired by the classic Maverick REV-6 single-fire revolver dart blaster. Naturally, the ginormous REV-6 also gets an identical colorway, consisting of yellow, black, grey and orange, to look the part. The world’s largest Nerf gun proclamation is not official; i mean who keep tracks of that, right? But looking at the size, we have little doubt there are any bigger ones out there. Nerf’s RC Dart-shooting Tank Is Ready To Strike From A Safe Distance This Fall

Up till this point, an RC vehicle with first-person point-of-view, shoots projectile and records the action is something of a dream machine for kids and adults alike. That is the kind of rig reserves for the tinkerers and the pros like the Game of Drones, but thanks to Hasbro’s Nerf, that dream is soon to become a reality – without the need for us, amateurs, to tinker with anything. Absolutely nothing. The Nerf N-Strike Elite Terrarscout RC Drone, as it is called, is ready to strike out-of-the-box – complete with tank-like threads to crawl over the most punishing terrains your office or backyard has to offer and the best part about this little guy is, it lets you unleash Nerf’s foam darts from its 18-dart clip shoot Nerf’s foam darts at unsuspecting enemies from a safe distance. Nerf Zombie Strike Brainsaw Blaster: Zombie Slaying Starts From Young

Grown ups often talked about zombie apocalypse and how best to prepare ourselves. The truth is we probably won’t see such a calamity in our lifetime, but we can’t say the same for the generation that follows. This is why the Nerf Zombie Strike Brainsaw Blaster could be a sound toy weapon for kids to work on their zombie slaying skills while they are still young. You know what they say about learning? It is always wise to start from young and the Nerf Zombie Strike Brainsaw Blaster offers your young ones the right tool to do just that. Aside from the usual foam dart shooting feature, this particular blaster comes equipped with a foam chainsaw that actually works. Well, works as in it rotates like a chainsaw should; not ‘works’ to cut down anything. Continue reading Nerf Zombie Strike Brainsaw Blaster: Zombie Slaying Starts From Young

Disney Launches New Star Wars: The Force Awakens Merchandises

Weird that the media made a fuss about the lack of female toys pertaining to Disney/Lucasfilm’s latest blockbuster, Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The funny thing was, we did saw the female lead’s merchandise around the time when the ding was made. Seriously, I don’t know what the media or the lobbyists expect. There’s just a couple key female characters (or two, to be exact), so surely they can’t really expect a lot of merchandises based on the two, right? Anywho, Disney has already pushes out a second wave of Star Wars: The Force Awakens products which the company cleverly worded as products that reveal secrets of Rey, Finn, Kylo Ren and more. NERF Combat Creature RC Robot

real-life warfare has progressed to drone-infested mayhem, so why should NERF be any different. of course not. even child’s play needs progression and the NERF Combat Creature RC Robot is that progression we are talking about. come this Fall (still quite a while, though), kids (and us!) can slug it out in foam darts warfare with the remote control six-legged Attacknid drone that has a rotating and tilting turret capable of launching up to 12 NERF ELITE darts in a row, up to a distance of 45 feet (13 meters). admittedly, that distance can hardly qualify as ‘drone-spec’ remote attack but we it would be fun to unleash them against the same kind on an all out legged-drone war. N-Strike Elite NERF ECS-12 Blaster

toys are akin to gadget; they gets the same amount, if not more attention, as gadgets from man folks, especially so when it blends ‘gadget’, however subtle, into it. the N-Strike Elite NERF ECS-12 Blaster is one such example. set to meet the world at the NYC Toy Fair, this latest toy firearm to join NERF’s arsenal is essentially a standard semi-auto NERF Blaster, but with a camera integrated to the barrel and a tiny 1.77-inch display on the top of the blaster’s body (at the fore of the stock). a crosshair on the screen lets you line up your shot, or if the position and angle allows, let you shoot while taking cover. if only the screen is tilt-able, that would be really awesome.
