SpaceVR Wants Everyone To Become A Virtual Astronaut With Overview One

There’s really nothing for you in space. That pitch black space has no adorable Pokémon monsters to catch and I am pretty sure Game of Thrones is not a hit in the vacuum environment either, but still, most kids are enthralled by the mysterious space and have, at some point in time, hoped to become an astronaut someday. Unfortunately, that some day may never come, at least it did not for me. I, like many kids, had once wished to be an astronaut, but obviously, it did not happen. But thanks to SpaceVR, we could all become astronauts too, albeit virtually, and appreciate the ball of life from the thermosphere, some 250 miles from Earth. SpaceX Wants To Send A Crew-less Rocket To Mars In 2018

It took NASA numerous years and millions, if not billions, of dollars to finally land a rover on Mars, but could they have been doing it wrong? Why? Cause’ private space transport company lead by Elon Musk, SpaceX has announced last Wednesday that it aims to send a crew-less Dragon spacecraft to Mars sometime in 2018. The goal of SpaceX when it was first founded in 2002 is not mere space travel; the company, or rather Musk himself, has a strong desire to colonize Mars in his lifetime. For what purpose? Well, we didn’t read too much into it, but it is a safe to bet that he may wants to be the first ruler of Mars. Come’on, let’s get real. Mars is essentially a no man’s land and unless Martians start popping up on the Red Plant or there’s some convention signed here on Earth, it is pretty much free-for-all and if so, who wouldn’t want a huge chunk of it? SpaceX Falcon 9 Sends Package To ISS, Returns To Land On A Droneship

You know how sci-fi movies depicts fellow humans going to space and landing back on Earth in rockets and not splashing into the sea in capsule? Well, it looks like mankind is indeed making that progression. SpaceX is one of the private space transport services company that not only successful land the a rocket back on land as foretold by sci-fi writers and films (though, unlike Jeff Bezo’s Blue Origin, reusability is still not checked on its list yet). Last Friday, the company logged in another milestone. This time landing the Falcon 9 rocket on an autonomous droneship, named “Of Course I Still Love You” (note: a real name, not a joke). Virgin Galactic SpaceShip Two VSS Unity Unveiled By Sir Richard Branson

Good news, future space travelers! Virgin Galactic’s new SpaceShip Two has been unveiled at the Mojave Air & Space Port in California. The vehicle is named Virgin Spaceship (VSS) Unity by physicist Stephen Hawking, via recorded speech, and said he “would be proud to fly on this spaceship.” Well, I am sure there’s spot for him. Though not sure if he will be a guest or paying traveler. The new spaceship, draped in a new silver and white livery, was guided into position by one of the company’s support Range Rovers provided by its exclusive automative partner, Land Rover. The unveiling of VSS Unity also marks another milestone for Virgin Galactic as it is the first aircraft manufactured by the company’s wholly owned manufacturing arm, The Spaceship Company. This Honeycomb-like Structure Might Be The Apartment Humans Will Be Staying On The Red Planet

whether in fact Mars is habitable is still a question that remains to be answered. regardless, that doesn’t stop some of us from dreaming about the possibility, and by ‘some of us’, we are referring to NASA. NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) has partnered with MakerBot to initiate a challenge for the 3D printing and design community to conceptualized a Mars base that “could theoretically support human life on Red Planet.” among the 228 original designs submitted to Thingiverse website, one dude by the name of Noah Hornberger, emerged as the winning entry. his concept, dubbed Queen B (Bioshielding) 2 Bedroom 2 Bath Mars Apartment, took the first prize. Travel: World View Near-Space Balloon Flights

fact: not everyone can afford a 250 grand ticket for a suborbital flight, but that’s not the be all and end all IF you have $75,000 to drop. for 75k, you can still get a view of the curve of the earth from 19 miles (or around 31 kilometers, which is roughly 79 km shy of Virgin Galactic suborbital flight) up there, thanks to the unique travel experience offered by the World View Near-Space Balloon Flights. however, instead of some futuristically named commercial spacecraft, you will be accommodated in a high altitude hot air balloon capsule which takes four hours for a round trip that includes 90 minutes of ascending, two hours of ‘sailing’, plus a 40 minutes descent. according to the scant details we read on the official website, you will be treated to the beverage of your choice, while you enjoy “the luxurious comfort and gentle glide of the vessel.” Continue reading Travel: World View Near-Space Balloon Flights
