with the invention of lighter who would ever look back at matches? in fact, we shouldn’t be forsaking this first line of light up, you know, for those just in case situations but not just any standard matches other then the UCO Stormproof Matches. as the name suggests, it is designed specifically to accompany your through harsh conditions. each of these matches can burn around 15 seconds regardless of what Mother Nature unleashes upon you – windy, rainy or cold condition, you name it. though we are not sure about tornados but at least these provides a glimmer of hope when bad situation struck. it is said that these little guys can even burn underwater. amazing stuff. a must have for avid campers (but not so much when you are queuing for Apple’s products) or the paranoia. we love it even though these matches cost a quite a bit when compared to regular matches but as long it works, it’s magic for us. but we do prefer the Kit version that comes with a floatable, waterproof case that looks really awesome. the latter cost a little more at $6.99 a pop while the ‘regular’ one cost just $5.23 per box of 25 little tough guys (striker included. the Kit version comes with three strikers).
