in the market for a display for your creative work? you may want to wait till August when the new Wacom Cintiq 24HD Touch hit the stores. as the name implies, it is 24HD that most creative professionals are familiar with but with the addition of multitouch support. with the multitouch support, designers can now take advantage of both the stylus input, a strength that Wacom is renown for, and multitouch gestures, giving you a true ‘hands-on’ experience. you can’t get more literal than that, can you? along with multitouch capability, the new display also boost an advanced LED backlit display that offers a 97% Adobe RGB color gamut with over one billion colors (1.07 billion, to be exact). other features include 2048 on pen tip and eraser, multiple ergonomic positions, 10 user programmable keys, 5080 lines per inch resolution and a host of I/Os that comprises of USB port, DVI-I, DisplayPort, as well as Analog RGB. the Wacom Cintiq 24HD Touch will ship in August with a cool sticker of $3,699. wow. a little too pricey for you? well, you can always go for the lesser Cintiq 22HD with a more affordable price tag of $1,999 in the latter part of July but then again, you won’t get the joy and advantage of multitouch. it’s your call. really. if you are interested, there are a couple of larger images for your consumption after the break.
