to mark the production of its 500 Millionth windproof pocket lighter, Zippo will be offering the commemorative Zippo 500 Millionth Replica and Limited Edition Lighters. only about 50,000 and 10,000 pieces will ever be produced, respectively. the 500 Millionth Replica Edition features a classic brushed chrome finish with two-tone engraving, a one-off bottom stamp that includes month, day and year of the production, serialized number on the front of the case and it will come packaged in a custom box. the Zippo 500 Millionth Limited Edition Lighter, on the other hand, features a deep carved high polish Armor case, decorated with gold color fill with a gold-flashed insert. similar to the Replica Edition, its bottom also receive a bottom stamp and individual serialized number lasered on the front case. the Limited Edition will be packaged in a custom folio box with an oval shaped brass companion piece. both edition will be available at Zippo retailers globally from July 2012, however, prices are yet to be confirmed. click past the jump for a couple of larger images.
