Jaguar C-X75 in James Bond Spectre

You already know the next James Bond flick, Spectre, will feature the specially designed Aston Martin DB10 as the hero’s ride and probably had caught wind about Jaguar Land Rover’s involvement in the movie too. Well, the rumor has been confirmed. Jaguar Land Rover has let out the official words on their involvement in this Fall’s blockbuster. Unfortunately, Jaguar Land Rover’s ride (or should we say, rides), in most part, won’t get too intimate with Mr. Bond as the ‘star’ car involved, the C-X75 supercar, will be siding with the villains. Regardless, you can expect these cars to slug it out in the Bond-usual, adrenaline-pumping car chases. Not sure how much screen time the C-X75 will have, but Jaguar Land Rover specifically points out that the C-X75 will go head to head with the DB10 in a spectacular car chase sequence through Rome.

The Jaguar C-X75 used in the flick was built in collaboration with Williams Advanced Engineering facility in Oxfordshire, England. For fans who laments that C-X75 did not become a reality, now at least you can live out your fantasy by watching others driving it on the big screen. Well, at least you get to see it moving and pulling off fictional maneuvers, right? Anyways, as with the Bond films from recent years, Land Rover will also be featured and this time round, heavily modified Land Rover Defender and Range Rover Sport SVR provided by Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations are being used. The latter is touted as the fastest and most powerful Land Rover ever, while the former, are actually Big Foots outfitted with humongous 37-inch off-road tires, bespoke suspension systems and enhanced body protection – which all adds up to be the perfect ride for Bond films and the ride of choice for rugged Austria mountainous region.

As for the flick itself, Sam Mendes continues to helm this latest film in the Bond franchise, starring Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Dave Bautista, Monica Belushi, Andrew Scott and Christopher Waltz, and is expected to hit the theaters this Fall.
