GReddy Wind Chime Is Made Using An Actual Piston And Yes, It Is A Thing Money Can Buy

GReddy Wind Chime

Here’s something for all petrolheads—especially petrolheads who are into JDMs. What you see here is a wind chime made out of an actual engine piston. Previously created as a joke by a staff member of Trust Racing, the GReddy Wind Chime is now a real product money can buy.

This definitive petrolheads automobile merch is made using RB26 2.7L kit’s JE forged piston. Unlike a regular wind chime, this piston wind chime’s tube is the piston itself and the clapper aka striker is the piston pin (wrist pin) with a cord that has a pre-flight keychain for the sail.

The GReddy Wind Chime will sell for 19,800 yen (approximately 140 USD which is not cheap for a wind chime by any account) when it becomes available in Japan. It is not clear though when that will be and whether or not it will be available outside of the land of the rising sun.
