If you ever needed an excuse to buy another watch, OMEGA just gave you one in the form of turquoise. The brand has expanded its Seamaster Aqua Terra collection with two new models that look like they were dipped in summer. Available in 38 mm and 41 mm, these timepieces bring a fresh dial colorway that’s somewhere between calm ocean and “hey, look at my wrist.”
The dials feature a turquoise varnish with a black gradient effect, shifting in tone like sunlight on water. A matte black ceramic bezel frames the dial, while black PVD-coated hands and markers filled with Super-LumiNova ensure the watch glows blue in the dark. The integrated black rubber strap keeps things sporty, with turquoise stitching that ties the whole look together.
Inside, the 41 mm model houses the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8900 with 60 hours of power reserve, while the 38 mm model gets the Calibre 8800 with 55 hours. Both movements are METAS-certified, resist magnetic fields up to 15,000 Gauss, and come wrapped in a case water resistant to 150 meters.
The OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra Turquoise models are priced at US$7,300 each. Bright dials, serious engineering, and a lot of temptation for collectors.
