Remember when we said businesses would celebrate everything and anything just to sell you something? Well, Porsche has taken it further. It is celebrating an anniversary that is not even its own: 100 years of the Nürburgring. But as far as this legendary racetrack goes, what better way to commemorate its centennial than with a car that loves shredding it?
The Porsche 911 GT3 100 Jahre Nürburgring is a special market edition limited to just 100 cars, all reserved for Germany. Buyers can choose between White and GT Silver Metallic, both complemented by green protective wraps across the front and rear, historic Nürburgring logos, California Gold wheels, and a customizable racing number from 0 to 999.
The rear wing continues the theme with gold Porsche lettering underneath and green sideplates bearing the Nürburgring outline. There are even functional front and rear tow lugs with white arrows pointing toward them, just in case your celebratory lap becomes a little too memorable.
Inside, the green continues across the roll cage, dashboard trim, gear markings, and driver’s seat backing. The door sills read “Welcome to the Green Hell,” while projectors cast the Nürburgring outline onto the ground. Buyers can choose between a seven-speed PDK and a six-speed manual, the latter topped by a walnut gear knob—complete with a matching green shift pattern. The green does not end there. The Mode Button is green, too, with the green “Green Hell” (GRÜNE HÖLLE) lettering.
An optional color-matched Manthey Kit adds revised suspension, upgraded brakes, and an aerodynamic package producing 540 kg (1,190 lbs) of downforce at 285 km/h (177 mph). Porsche says the setup completed the Nordschleife in 6:50.853.
Orders open in September 2026 [DE], with deliveries scheduled for the racetrack’s centennial year in 2027. Porsche has not announced the price. It has, however, limited the celebration to Germany, so the rest of us will have to commemorate the Nürburgring with cake.
The Nürburgring edition adds to Porsche’s growing list of 992.2-generation 911 GT3 specials, which already includes the 911 GT3 90 F. A. Porsche, a 90-unit tribute based on the wingless Touring Package.
