A Total War Saga: TROY Original Soundtrack On Vinyl And CD

I always thought releasing game soundtracks does not make much sense monetarily because the audience is much smaller than movies. But here it is anyways, another original video game soundtrack for fans and collectors, A Total War Saga: TROY.

Laced Records has partnered with the game’s developer, Creative Assembly, and the game’s publisher, Sega, to release the BAFTA award-winning Total War series soundtrack on deluxe triple vinyl and double CD.

Here’s what the soundtrack is about:

“TROY’s score comprises cinematic soundscapes, ambient washes, pulsing grooves and basslines. Creative Assembly’s audio director and lead composer Richard Beddow and team created a vibrant, stylised fusion of elements from the Mediterranean, Balkan, North African, and Eastern cultures. Captivating choral performances by the Vanya Moneva Bulgarian female choir conjure an exciting and exotic sound, grounding the soundtrack in the ancient Aegean.”

The A Total War Saga: TROY Deluxe Triple Vinyl and Double CD are very collectible – if you are into game soundtrack or just soundtrack of any kind.

For the triple vinyl, 41 tracks are pressed onto three “audiophile-quality”, heavyweight 180g orange LPs. These LPs will come presented in a triple gatefold sleeve with an additional insert.

Meanwhile, the double CD, which contains 53 tracks, also comes in a triple gatefold sleeve with a booklet.

A Total War Saga: TROY Original Soundtrack Deluxe Triple Vinyl and Double CD sets are available to order now from Lacerecords.com, with the former costing US$50 and the latter, US$15.
