Apple iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus

This is it. The most anticipated tech reveal of 2024 has been made. We are talking about the new Apple iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus which has nothing you already haven’t heard of. Or maybe not? Apple’s iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are stepping up with some meaningful improvements.

Powered by the all-new A18 chip, both models are designed to handle demanding tasks more efficiently, with smoother performance and a noticeable increase in battery life. Apple Intelligence also makes its debut, offering personalized assistance that understands your context and keeps your privacy intact. This feature can help users prioritize emails, summarize notifications, and even interact more naturally with Siri, making daily interactions quicker and more intuitive.

The new Camera Control adds a tactile switch and advanced sensor technology for instant access to the camera, while the 48MP Fusion camera delivers sharper images with a 2x Telephoto lens. Macro photography also gets a boost with the Ultra Wide lens, and spatial photos and videos are designed to offer immersive playback on Apple Vision Pro.

A revamped design includes a more durable Ceramic Shield, with the Action button giving users quick access to frequently used functions like the camera or flashlight. The 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR displays ensure a vibrant viewing experience with OLED technology, while the addition of five new colors—black, white, pink, teal, and ultramarine—gives the devices a fresh look. But like the Apple Watch Series 10, you gotta hands-on to feel the design differences from its predecessor.

Starting at US$799 for the iPhone 16 and US$899 for the iPhone 16 Plus, pre-orders begin September 13, and they’ll be available from September 20.
