One of the ‘innovations’ Apple touts with the new iPhone X was wireless charging, but really, that ‘innovation’ is not an innovation. It has been a staple in many Android smartphones for years now and so, being a person of riches, why should you be seen using an “old technology.” I mean, come on, the iPhone X is in itself a luxury good, costing at least $999, so really it deserves a lot more “revolutionary” tech. And this, folks, is why there’s the Caviar iPhone X Tesla. Continue reading Who Needs Wireless Charging On iPhone X When It Can Charges Itself?
There is something about gadgets with clear cover. I don’t know. I feel it kind of makes a gadget more “technical” and the person using it, a tad more, how do you say? Tech savvy? Or something like that, but of course, as much as I love doing it, I won’t because I will break the waterproofing and obviously, end my warranty prematurely. All I can do is to see YouTubers like JerryRigEverything and more recently, EverythingApplePro has done it too. The thing is, not everyday you get to see the people pulling it off. It is only when the stock cover are of glass, only then someone can do something about it and the newest iPhone, the iPhone 8, just happen to sport a glass back. Continue reading Clear Back iPhone 8 Look Totally Awesome, But I Suggest You Not Do It
The iPhones from 6 onward had a design which is time-tested. Since the 6, the same design cues can seen in later models of iPhone and even in other makes of handsets, but the 5? Well, that, my friends, was another brilliant design which Apple have kept for a little longer than it should have, now under the SE model. Having said that, it is only logical for someone to wonder ‘can the SE be more? Like, ‘what if the SE gets the iPhone X treatments?’ As some people like yours truly here are fantasying about the possibilities, German tech website CURVED/labs actually get down and ‘design’ an iPhone SE based on their own set of fantasies which they christen, iPhone SE+. So, this is it. Just hours ago, Apple taken the wrap of the heavily leaked and rumored iPhone anniversary device, iPhone X, along with the iPhone 7 successor, now called iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. Yup. iPhone 7s has been skipped. It is now straight to 8. Anyways, we are not here to regurgitate what Tim Cook and his team has spat out in a lengthy keynote and so here’s the gist. iPhone X is expected, beautiful. It features an expansive, edge-to-edge bezel-less display that takes up the entire front. In the process, the physical Home button is gone and so is the fingerprint sensor. In its place is a 7MP sensors loaded front-facing camera that will unlock your device via Face ID. Continue reading iPhone X And iPhone 8: One Excites But The Other Makes Us Go Yawn
Brikk, the purveyor of luxury gadgets, has launched premium version of iPhone X ahead of the device’s official announcement on September 12. The official words from Brikk landed in our inbox a few hours ago, indicating a selection of luxe iPhone X will be available for your taking. We suspect the iPhone X will be rare device by the virtue of the pricing and the rumored manufacturing issues which may limit the quantity available during the first wave of availability. Notwithstanding that, if you are looking to further stand out from the crowd and have a burgeoning bank account, Brikk presents to you iPhone X in Gold and Platinum with Diamonds in multiple collections which also include a Solid Gold Ingot version, as an alternative to the mundane factory version. September 12 is the date to look out for if you are a fan of iPhone because that is the date earmarked for the big reveal of the next iPhones, including the much anticipated and rumored anniversary edition, the iPhone 8. We are not sure how these sources managed to get hold on these leaks, but if recent history of such leaks have taught us anything, it is that such leaks usually turned out to be pretty spot on. Anywho, with just seven days to the big event, a supposed video of a working iPhone 8 was leaked. Yup. A working iPhone 8 in action. Imagine that! Continue reading Working Apple iPhone 8 Video And Shocking Price List Leaked!
So, when it comes to “leaked” info of Apple’s new smartphone, I guess that company that does the bling to iPhone, Brikk, should know the best. So far, Brikk has not been proven wrong. Following the company’s teasing of the new range of luxe, yet-to-be-announced iPhone 8, Brikk has pushed out an email saying it has “new confirmed updates and photos of iPhone 8 from Apple.” Now, I have not been keeping abreast of the rumors so far, well, at least not as much as I think I should have, but what Brikk has to offer on the email is a tad more than the current rumors floating around. Along with a few images of the supposed leaked iPhone 8, Brikk confirmed the worst fear of some Apple users: Apple is yet again removing something and this time it has ditched the traditional home button which also happens to be the touch ID to make way for a larger screen coverage. Continue reading Apparently, These Are New “Confirmed” Updates And Images Of iPhone 8
The fate of the so-called iPhone 8 remains unclear. So far, what I have read is contradicting to say the least. One source cited possible delay due to material shortage and another said on contrary to rumor, it will be on time. Hell, no one can even confirm if it will be called iPhone 8 at all. For all you know, it could be just iPhone Edition. However, like before, that won’t stop Brikk from ‘introducing’ the luxury version of the yet-to-be-announced iPhone 8. The tip reached our inbox and I thought it will be interesting to share. In total Brikk plans to offer three levels of luxe iPhone 8: Lux iPhone 8, Lux iPhone 8 Standard and Lux iPhone 8 Deluxe. Thanks to the existence of luxury phone makers, Scrooge McDuckians do not need to own and use the same mobile phone as the “commoners.” But it is hard to resist the lure of an Apple made smartphone for some and so, the obvious solution is to have it blinged and to that, luxury smartphone maker Gresso has just the right stuff for this bunch of folks, the Black Diamond Collection iPhone 7. Gresso’s luxe treatment ditches aluminum in favor of grade-5 titanium, after which a generous topping of black diamonds are added to the entire back. The suspense surrounding (or the lack thereof) iPhone 7 is finally over. In an event earlier today, the much leaked new smartphone from the Cupertino tech giant was finally unveiled. As per the various leaks and rumors, there’s very little left to surprise us – except maybe water and dust resistant, which the new iPhones now touts. Apple said reengineered enclosure allows the new iPhones to achieved IP-67 rating that seals it against dust and water. Like before, two models, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, will be offered with the former fronted by a 4.7-inch Retina HD display and the latter, a 5.5-inch Retina HD display.
